Orange Chair, LLC (“Orange Chair”, “we”, “us”) designs, engineers and builds custom commercial seating from our shop in Cincinnati, Ohio. This policy explains what happens to personal information when you visit www.orange-chair.com or contact us through it.
Our contact form asks for your first name, last name, email address, subject and message. When you submit it, those details are emailed to our team so we can respond. Form submissions are not stored in the website’s database.
If you email or call us directly, we keep that correspondence so we can deal with your enquiry and any work that follows.
We use this information only to reply to you and to carry out any project you ask us to quote for or build. We do not add you to a marketing list.
Some information is collected whenever anyone visits a website:
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people find useful. It is switched off by default. The Google Analytics script is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set unless you choose “Accept All”, or turn on the Analytics category, in our cookie banner.
If you do allow it, Google sets the _ga and _ga_D17BCZ2LPR cookies (about two years) to tell returning visits apart and to keep session state. Google processes this on our behalf and receives your IP address as part of that. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, and this property has no Google Ads account linked to it. If you change your mind, reopen the banner using the link in our footer and switch Analytics off.
Our Contact page includes a Google Map showing where our shop is. Because loading a map means asking Google for it, the map only loads once you have allowed the Functional category. Until then you will see a placeholder. When it does load, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Information does pass through a small number of service providers who help us run the site and our business: our web hosting provider, our email provider, and Google (for the analytics and map described above). We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
A note for California residents: allowing analytics cookies can count as “sharing” personal information under California law, even though no money changes hands. That is why the footer of every page carries a Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link. Choosing “Reject All”, or leaving Analytics switched off, opts you out.
Whoever and wherever you are, you can: refuse all optional cookies, change your mind later, use your browser settings to block or delete cookies, and ask us what we hold about you.
Depending on where you live you may also have the right to ask us to give you a copy of your personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive it in a portable form — and, where we rely on your consent, to withdraw that consent at any time. California residents additionally have the right to know what is collected, to have it deleted or corrected, to opt out of sale or sharing, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights.
To make a request, email us at PTucker@Orange-Chair.com. We may need to ask a question or two to confirm who you are before we act, and we will respond within the time your local law allows.
We keep enquiries and project correspondence for as long as we are working with you and afterwards for as long as we need it for our records, warranty questions and legal obligations. Records of cookie consent are kept as evidence that consent was given. Analytics data is retained by Google under the settings on our account. When information is no longer needed we delete it.
This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and access to the systems holding your information is limited to people who need it. No website can promise perfect security, but we take looking after your information seriously.
Orange Chair sells to businesses and design professionals. This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We operate from the United States and our site is hosted there. If you visit from elsewhere, the information described in this policy will be processed in the United States, where data protection law may differ from your own.
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a change affects the cookies we use, we will ask for your consent again.
