Sartre is a stylish Over-the-Rhine bistro serves modern riffs on French classics and a Parisian twist on American staples, along with imaginative cocktails and a European wine list.

Located in a 110 year old brick manufacturing building + hip brewery + renowned chef = supercool hybrid of hip, chic, and unique!

Sartre was one of our coolest projects and coolest restaurant spaces that we have ever participated in. Winner of a Cincinnati Design Award, Sartre created the definition of urban chic. Longtime friends at the architectural firm The Drawing Department brought this gem to our plate. Noteworthy design decisions included the delicate engineering to allow for the 100-year-old radiator heating to flow from beneath the banquettes. Other intriguing features of the restaurant were the quad-booths in the main dining room with cool brass grid details, and sweet, sweet Corinthian leather upholstery!
